​As Ramadhan enters its finals nights, various parties in the country continue to glorify the holy month with various acts of worship. The Kampung Sungai Besar Mosque Takmir Committee held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony, Doa Arwah and Donation Presentation to Orphans and the Underprivileged. It was held at the said mosque, 13th March late afternoon.

The ceremony included the reading of Tahtim, Doa Khatam, Doa Tahlil and Dikir Marhaban. Donations were presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Recipients comprised of orphans and the underprivileged from Kampung Sungai Besar.
